Food was nice, probably better than average pub food but there was no atmosphere, very few people around so we left after a few hours. It was really cold which makes for uncomfortable dining, we moved outdoors to sit under a heater after our meal as it was warmer out there. Staff were superb, friendly and efficient. I've ordered the spinach salad no bacon twice, its really lovely. Have found its best to order starters and mains together the gap between courses is too long. Staff are friendly but you have to look for them if you need anything and to order a drink.

Welcoming staff, spotlessly clean premises. Quick midweek dinner. Very generous portions. Brie starter delicious and very large potion. Prawns delicious too. Very poor choice of the veg noodles made by me . I was asked if I wanted prawns or chicken and I said chicken . The chicken was a southern fried fillet not expected with stir fry !!! The noodles were plenty but very few veg not good value and only taste was soya sauce . Also didn’t realize there was a charge for chicken so €21 for poor stir fry .Fourth  time eating here and each time has gone downhill and not up . Small menu but should be executed very well . I hope you get to a nice standard as the village needs a venue that has good food even if it is pub standard .my partner had fish and chips for the third time and it was ok but nothing like the standard a few weeks ago .Possibly  haddock is out of season ?!?

Probably caught them at a bad time. Waited a very long time for the food to arrive. When it did we were told they're down a chief that's why it took so long. The quality of the food didn't match my previous visits. They seem to struggle when it gets a little busy.
