Slevin’s Main Function Room – Set up for a Wedding

If you are looking for a quality function in a fantastic location, look no further than Slevin’s of Dunboyne.

We offer top class facilities with indoor & outdoor spaces and private dining areas, catering for groups from 10 to 200 people.

Located in the heart of Dunboyne, within easy reach of Dublin city centre via train or bus, hotels such as Carton House Hotel, Dunboyne Castle Hotel, Castleknock Hotel and Country Club, Trim Castle Hotel. We can offer your group a traditional and authentic Irish setting for any occasion.

Our functions rooms are located upstairs and have a separate access from the main dining and bar area downstairs.

Each function room offers a unique experience which caters for a host of different events, parties, celebrations, weddings, meeting, presentations, we can host almost any event and we’re happy to go late. Each room requires a deposit to secure booking.

We booked Slevins on an exclusive basis for a large group on the recommendation of a local events company. We were welcomed like old friends, looked after like family and fed like kings and queens. The menu was uncomplicated pub grub but of such quality that attendees are still talking about it (we can’t find chicken wings anywhere near as good) and the drink selection spot on. A couple of unexpected little touches really set them apart and the service was everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. I can’t wait to return and would recommend them all day long. Thanks team!

Thank you to all the amazing and friendly staff at Slevins where we recently celebrated a family occasion.The function room was set up beautifully and it was great to have access to the outdoor terrace.The food was delicious, plenty of choices and very good value.Michelle was very helpful which made the event stressfree and very enjoyable even the little touches like colouring for the kids and background music made a difference.I highly recommend Slevins for any occasion and I look forward to returning soon.

I recently had a family communion in Slevins and I can not recommend it highly enough. From the very outset when I was researching many venues Slevins responded to me quickly with clear, concise and detailed information. Throughout the process of arranging the day Michelle was excellent in answering my many questions! in a timely manner and with clear detailed answers. She made the planning process seamless which really helps when organising an event. Everything about the day was excellent from the room, service, food, staff etc. I couldn't fault a thing. If you have any party / family event I can not recommend Slevins highly enough. From their 2 amazing private rooms upstairs to their snug downstairs and outside space it really is the perfect venue for any event. Thank you to all the team in Slevins.

We just held our wedding in slevins on 19-04-24 It was the first time they held a full wedding from ceremony to day 2 trad secession. This will certainly not be the last wedding they will hold as the service staff organisation I'm running out of words to use as they were so amazing. We loved every minute and everyone in slevins is the reason we enjoyed every moment oh and the food was on another level.
